| February, 2000 Souled Out to Christ! Have you ever felt as if you had sold yourself out to your friends or to some cause, only to find yourself feeling empty and used? If you have, don't be discouraged. Try something new- allow yourself to become "souled out" to Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us in Matthew 22: 37, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and Heart, Soul, and Mind (Matthew 22:37) with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." What a statement!
When you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, that is just what you are doing. You are becoming souled out to Him. However, all of us fail Christ at some point and time, and it seems that we are not as "souled out" to Him as when we first made the decision to believe in Him. "So what is all of this leading to?" you may be asking yourself. This: The joint youth meetings that have taken place for the last few months now have a name--SOULED OUT! Our new name simply states what we believe: that we are souled on Christ! Join youth from all areas as we focus on your relationship with Jesus, other Christians, and non-Christians.

On March 10-12th, we will be having a Youth Revival for all area youth groups. It will be held at Green Sea High School. The speaker for the weekend will be Brad Jurkovich. Brad has traveled across the nation speaking to young people in churches and in high schools. The name of this revival is "Take the Challenge" Youth Crusade. In 1993, Brad founded "Be The Light Ministries" which reaches schools, churches, and city-wide events across America. Brad has a burden and vision to stand for Christ in today's world and proclaim the message of salvation. "Be The Light Ministries" takes the gospel of Jesus to today's generation seeking God for genuine revival. History shows that when Christians get serious about following Jesus, then God moves in ways that can only be explained as a spiritual awakening and revival. How this dark world needs to see a revived church! Brad's enthusiastic presentation of hope and encouragement shows how young people can make positive choices in their lives today. Don't miss this opportunity to fellowship with other youth who are facing the same problems you are facing. Together, you can overcome them through a relationship with Jesus. You do not have to be a member of a church to come to the revival. See you there!
